How many women have graduated from the OTT program?

Between 1999 and 2009, 40 OTT programs have been offered throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. Close to 500 women have graduated from an OTT program. OTT graduates are everywhere: in schools doing a trade or technology program; at work getting hours as apprentices; owning their own businesses not only here in Newfoundland and Labrador but all across Canada.

What are the benefits of the OTT program?

The OTT program provides tools and strategies to help increase women and girls' integration and retention in the trades and technologies industry.

What type of financial aid is available to me?

Various forms of financial assistance may be available for qualified candidates from your local Service Canada Office or HRLE Office. If you are interested in applying for such assistance, please make an appointment with one of our Community Development Coordinators to determine your eligibility.
