Women in Resource Development: WRDC Women in Resource Development

Kerri is a native of Newfoundland and Labrador, she currently resides in Portugal Cove - St Philips and was educated at Memorial University. She completed the Masters Certificate in Project Management in Dec 2011 from York University in partnership with MUN.

Kerri achieved a 20 year career centered in the petroleum industry through her work with the Provincial Government, industry operators and private local business. Her acquired expertise was developed within the Provincial Department of Mines & Energy along with supply chain management within Suncor Energy and Encana.  She has a firm understanding of the needs for both the operator and small business owner while being highly committed to advocating for a sustainable and competitive industry.  Currently, Kerri is keeping busy as the Managing Director with Flourish Energy Inc., an agile energy consulting firm focused on company and resource management as well as partnering initiatives. This is in conjunction with her role as Business Manager - Atlantic Canada for Brunel Energy, a global service company.

In addition to Kerri’s appointment in 2014 as Chair of the Board with Women in Resource Development (WRDC), her energy and determination for results is also evident with her appointment to the NOIA Board of Directors in February 2016 and to the Chair role on Noia’s Supplier Development Committee in May 2016.

Kerri is a huge proponent of team work, she often quotes Aristotle to address the unseen benefits that teamwork achieves; “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”!  (Supply Chain Management) and most recently, Suncor (Supply Chain Management).
