Hailing from an entrepreneurial background, Carolann Harding brings wealth of knowledge to the stage of international business development. As the Director of International Business Development with the Department of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development (Government of Newfoundland and Labrador), Carolann’s day to day focus is helping companies explore and reach export markets. Her expertise areas are cultural exports such as film/TV production & music, Supplier Diversity, Women in Business and the US market.

Carolann is a graduate from both Memorial and Dalhousie Universities. 1990 Carolann was named the Youth Entrepreneur of the Year for NL and in 2002 won a Public Service Award of Excellence form the Provincial Government. In March 2014 Carolann received a 2013 World of Difference 100 Award presented by The International Alliance of Women (TIAW). Each year, this award is given to individuals from around the world whose efforts have advanced the economic empowerment of women locally, regionally or internationally.
